Julie Andrus

I’ve always loved painting, drawing & creating since childhood. My passion has now been a career for more than 30 years. When I was awarded an Art Scholarship to Dixie State University, great teachers and meeting my artist husband changed my life.

One of my claims to fame has been appearing on the TLC Network. I was part of a team that competed on Ultimate Cake Off, where we made a huge Fourth of July Cake. Painting in front of a camera for 9 hours was intimidating! The show still appears in re-runs and online.

I’ve painted on everything from kid’s faces, to wooden crafts, signs, store windows, furniture, and wedding cakes. Murals have become my specialty for the past 18 years. My work was recognized with the “Best Painting Award, Parade of Homes 2014”. Murals really do transform a room like nothing else!
