About Corey Ford

Painting and creating art has been my passion my entire life. I have worked in many different mediums such as oils, acrylics, pastels, pencil, watercolor, photography and digital. I'm trying to emulate the great illuminary artist by the name of Frederick Church who used a lot of light and detail as one of the "Hudson River" painters. Maxfield Parrish, an accomplished artist, has also made an impact on me.

Many of my paintings have been sold and are now in private collections throughout the USA. Beginning in late 2003, I began dabbling in digital art and found it very much to my liking and have produced many digital paintings since then. I'm always trying to improve my work in an ongoing process.

Spacescapes especially intrigue me. I want to project the feeling in the viewer as actually being in outer space and seeing images of what it may look like to be among the beautiful planets, galaxies and nebulae.
